Dr. John Casey gave an excellent presentation and talk on haemochromatosis in Tralee, Co Kerry in March 2024 at the famous Rose Hotel. We were joined by Nurse Noirin Taylor and friend and volunteer with the IHA, Raphael Crowley.

Active Retirement Ireland Presentation

Huge thanks to our Voluntary Board Member, David Beggy who gave a wonderful talk and presentation on haemochromatosis to the East Meath Active Retirement Ireland Group in Julianstown. We are aiming to involve many more Active Retirement Ireland Groups around Ireland in bringing awareness talks to groups in every county.

Dave’s Kilimanjaro Challenge for Haemochromatosis

Dave Doyle was inspired to climb Africa’s highest mountain, when his daughter Kate was diagnosed with haemochromatosis. Huge thanks to Dave and his family for raising an amazing €1,105 to support education and awareness of haemochromatosis in Ireland.
