Renew your membership of the Irish Haemochromatosis Association and help us build awareness and educate members of the public about haemochromatosis and its effects on patients and their families. With over 1,000 members, we are a representative voice who provide information, resources and advocacy for all haemochromatosis patients. Membership of the Irish Haemochromatosis Association makes us stronger and gives us a collective voice to advocate on behalf of our members, patients and their families. At this time of year, we encourage all our members to renew your annual membership.
We also invite you to make an additional donation, big or small, to support our efforts in advocating for patients and their families in Ireland, providing information and resources, undertaking research and delivering training and education for health and medical professionals. If you are in a position to invite your company to make a corporate donation this year, we would be very grateful for corporate support. If you are an Irish taxpayer and donate €250 or more to our charity, you can claim 45% in tax relief under the Charitable Donation Scheme. Thank you to all the Donegal community who came out in great numbers to attend our recent Patient Information evening in the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, Co Donegal. Over 120 people, some who travelled long distances, joined us on the night to hear Dr. Paul Grant’s talk and presentation on haemochromatosis.
