Cork Patient Information Meeting – Clayton Cork City Hotel, Lapps Quay, Tuesday 28th November at 7pm
This is a FREE in-person event and everyone is welcome, including patients, their families and friends to our Cork event. Dr. Diarmaid Houlihan will answer all your questions on the night, after a presentation on ‘Understanding Haemochromatosis’.
Active Retirement Ireland Meeting & Presentation – Thursday 16th November at 3pm
David Beggy, Voluntary Board Member, Irish Haemochromatosis Association, will deliver a talk and presentation to the East Meath Active Retired Group in Julianstown, East Meath on Thursday 16th November at 3pm.
World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week will take place from 1-7th June 2025. If you can help in any way, organise an information stand, or do an interview on local radio, we need your help! If you have new media contacts or if you know of entertainment or sports personalities who can endorse our campaign, please get in touch.
Our AGM takes place this year on Saturday 24th May 2025. There will be an option to attend in-person at the IBTS building in St. James’s Hospital, James Street, Dublin or online via webinar. Teas and coffees will be available from 10.30am and the business of the AGM will start at 11am.
Join us and Dr. Michelle Murphy, a Psychotherapist and lecturer in health and social care specialist and therapist. Her research has contributed to developing community and mental health services. Michelle offers practical, evidence-based brain health tips for everyday life.
