Congratulations to Tony McDevittt, long-standing friend and volunteer with the Irish Haemochromatosis Association! Tony is proud to have made his 50th blood donation to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and has donated much-needed blood donations over several years.

Not everyone is able to donate, but if you can, you will be giving a life-saving donation to someone else in need. Every drop counts!
World Haemochromatosis Awareness Week will take place from 1-7th June 2025. If you can help in any way, organise an information stand, or do an interview on local radio, we need your help! If you have new media contacts or if you know of entertainment or sports personalities who can endorse our campaign, please get in touch.
Our AGM takes place this year on Saturday 24th May 2025. There will be an option to attend in-person at the IBTS building in St. James’s Hospital, James Street, Dublin or online via webinar. Teas and coffees will be available from 10.30am and the business of the AGM will start at 11am.
Join us and Dr. Michelle Murphy, a Psychotherapist and lecturer in health and social care specialist and therapist. Her research has contributed to developing community and mental health services. Michelle offers practical, evidence-based brain health tips for everyday life.
