BloodHIT Conference

The Irish Haemochromatosis Association attended BlooDHIT (the Irish Blood Transfusion Service bi-annual Conference on Blood Donation, Haematology Infection and Transfusion), where we were given opportunities to learn from national and international research and experts.

Thank you to Dr. Allison Waters and Stephanie Deane for helping to raise awareness of haemochromatosis among a wide audience. We would also like to extend a fond farewell to Professor Tor Hervig, outgoing Medical & Scientific Director of the IBTS, who has been a great friend of the Association!
